This complex was designed for Cub Scout Camps but it is also suitable for many other self contained functions, conferences, training courses, etc. Many people say it is one of the most beautiful parts of the Camp.
The Cub Lair main hall is 10 metres x 7 metres, with shower and toilet facilities attached There are also 2 bunk rooms which can accommodate 12 adults and each bunk room has its own shower and toilet, etc. Mattresses are provided for adults, but Cubs will need to bring their own, or air beds, etc.
The Cub Kitchen is a attractive building in its own right. The fully equipped electric kitchen is at one end of the building and leads into the Dining Hall with featured rough brick walls, a vaulted timbered ceiling and surrounding windows which offer panoramic views of the coast right around to the mountain escarpment. The delightful Cabbage Tree Palms which fringe the grassed playing area are a feature of this part of the Camp.
The Cub Camp Fire Circle and Activity Area is situated just below the kitchen and has recently been completely re-developed with a paved path for wheel chair access and extensive plantings and landscaping with native trees and shrubs.
